Every product goes through weeks of daily workouts in our Kinetic Studio: snap tests up to 150 lbs for bands, measured firmness scales for rollers, and real sweat testing for grip and durability. Only gear that survives earns a spot on the site.
If you're new to band training, choose a multi-level set. Use lighter bands for warm-ups and shoulder work, and heavier ones for rows, presses, and squats. You should manage about 10 controlled reps with the last two feeling hard.
For trained muscles, high-density rollers work significantly better — soft rollers compress before reaching deeper tissue. Beginners may prefer starting with a medium density and working up as tolerance builds.
Quality latex bands last 1-2 years with daily use if stored away from sunlight and checked for nicks. Foam rollers and massage balls last many years. We note expected lifespan in each guide.
